WeatherHub Sensor
This sensor is a component of the „WeatherHub“ system for measuring air temperature and humidity (indoor or outdoor) and water
temperature, it can be used with this system only. To use the sensor you need an installed WeatherHub gateway.
Before you use it:
Please be sure to read this short-instruction manual carefully.
Following the instruction manual for use will prevent damage to the device and loss of your statutory rights arising from defects due to
incorrect use.
We shall not be liable for any damage occurring as a result of not following these instructions. Likewise, we take no responsibility for any
incorrect readings and for any consequences which may result from them.
Please take particular note of the safety advice!
Please look after this manual for future reference.
For your safety:
The product is exclusively intended for the eld of application described above. The product should only be used as described
within these instructions.
Unauthorised repairs, modications or changes to the product are prohibited.
Caution!
Risk of injury:
Keep this instrument and the batteries out of reach of children.
Batteries must not be thrown into the re, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by a leaking
battery. Never use a combination of old and new batteries together or batteries of different types.
Remove the batteries if you do not use the product for a lengthy period.
Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and glasses when handling leaked batteries.
Important information on product safety!
Do not place your device near extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.
Clean the instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
Sensor set up
Open the battery cover of the thermo-hygro sensor.
Hold the body of the pool sensor and unlock the upper part by turning it counter clockwise and separate it carefully from the
body.
First, insert 2 x 1,5 V AA batteries in the thermo-hygro sensor.
Then insert 2 x 1,5 V AA batteries in the pool sensor. Observe the correct polarity (see marking).
Close the battery cover of the thermo-hygro sensor and screw the two parts of the pool sensor together again. Ensure that
the cover is at and sufciently tight secured (markings should correspond). This will prevent water from entering the battery
compartment and subsequently damage the unit.
In order to ensure sufcient transmission however, the distance between the thermo-hygro sensor and the gateway should not
be more than 100 meters and 25 meters to the pool sensor (in water).
Application
Placed outside, choose a shady and dry position for the thermo-hygro sensor. Direct sunshine falsies the measurement and continuous
humidity strains the electronic components needlessly. The thermo-hygro sensor is used to control temperature and humidity in the
indoor or outdoor area, the pool sensor measures the water temperature in the swimming pool, whirlpool or pond.
Add sensor
Open the app, dashboard is displayed. Tap „Add new sensor“ and scan the QR code on the back of the sensor. A copy of the sensor code
is attached. Then set a name for the sensor.
Battery replacement
The battery status of the thermo-hygro sensor will be shown by the WeatherHub app.
Replace the batteries of the pool sensor when the battery symbol appears in the display of the pool sensor.
Please note: When the batteries are changed, the contact between thermo-hygro sensor and pool sensor must be restored – so
always restart both devices.

Do you recommend Weatherhub?

Frequently Asked Questions

A

It measures pool water temperature via the floating pool sensor and air temperature plus humidity via the thermo-hygro sensor, delivering data to the WeatherHub app.

Is this answer helpful?

A

Yes. The sensors operate exclusively with the WeatherHub gateway and app. Without the gateway, data cannot be transmitted or viewed.

Is this answer helpful?

A

Up to 25 meters from pool sensor to the thermo-hygro transmitter in water, and up to 100 meters from the transmitter to the WeatherHub gateway in free-field conditions.

Is this answer helpful?

A

Open the WeatherHub app, tap Add new sensor, and scan the QR code on the sensor. Assign a name and confirm. A copy of the code is usually included.

Is this answer helpful?

A

Air temperature: -40°C to +60°C, typically ±1°C (0–50°C). Humidity: 0–99% rH, ±3% (20–80% rH). Water temperature: 0–60°C. Intervals: 30 s measurement, 7 min transmission.

Is this answer helpful?

A

Use two AA batteries per sensor. When replacing, restart both sensors to re-establish the link. Keep the pool sensor cap firmly sealed to prevent water ingress.

Is this answer helpful?
