Homepilot Smart Plug 1800W Manual: Your Quick Start Guide

Smarter Power Control for Everyday Devices

Compact control, clear safety, effortless setup

The Homepilot Smart Plug 1800W brings reliable, radio-controlled switching to your everyday appliances. Built for dry indoor spaces, it supports up to 1800W ohmic loads (like incandescent lamps), 200W inductive loads (motors, fluorescent lamps), and 150W capacitive loads (many LED lamps). With IP20 protection, Class I safety, and low standby consumption under 0.5 W, it’s designed for efficient, responsible use.

Pair it with the DuoFern ecosystem to unlock flexible control. Two switching modes—Unit Mode and Light Mode—let you tailor how the plug responds to commands such as UP, DOWN, ON, and OFF. Automatic dawn/dusk functions are supported in Light Mode via select DuoFern transmitters, while the Premium gateway focuses on manual and scheduled control without automatic sun functions. Up to 20 DuoFern end units can join your network, with an indoor radio range of up to 20 meters at 434.5 MHz.

Operation is simple: press the onboard button to toggle power, hold 2–5 seconds to enter log-on, 5–10 seconds to log-off, and 15 seconds to reset to factory defaults. Clear LED feedback (green for pairing, red for errors) keeps setup transparent. The compact form factor (∅ 41 mm, depth 73 mm) ensures nearby sockets remain usable, while the integrated relay and overtemperature protection add an extra layer of safety.

Safety takes priority. Use only in 230 V/50 Hz grounded outlets, never in damp locations, and do not daisy-chain multiple smart plugs. Even when switched off, connected devices aren’t fully isolated from mains—unplug before servicing. Train users, keep away from children, and stay within the specified load classes to prevent overheating or fire risk.

Whether you’re automating lamps or managing small appliances, the Homepilot Smart Plug 1800W Manual gives you a clear, practical path to smarter energy control with dependable performance and thoughtful safeguards.

Notes:

  • Automatic dawn/dusk features don’t operate via the Premium gateway.
  • Radio systems on the same frequency can cause interference.
