HoMedics FAC-600-EU Purete Facial Cleansing Brush

The HoMedics FAC-600-EU Purete Facial Cleansing Brush is a rechargeable, multi-head cleansing tool designed to refresh and refine daily skincare routines. Compact and USB-chargeable, it offers up to 80 minutes of runtime after an overnight charge and features three vibration modes (low, high, pulsing) to suit different skin sensitivities and needs. The device accepts three interchangeable heads—Normal for cleansing and exfoliation, Sensitive for gentle cleansing, and Gel for moisturising and massage—making it versatile for cleansing, treatment prep, and product absorption.

Key features and use

The brush charges on a simple USB base; LED indicators show charging status and remaining battery. Attaching and removing heads is straightforward: align, press and twist clockwise to lock, and twist anticlockwise to remove. For daily cleansing, wet skin and brush head, apply cleanser to the head, and move the brush in gentle circular motions. Recommended timing is about 10 seconds per cheek, 20 seconds on the forehead, and 20 seconds for the nose and chin area. New users are advised to start with the Sensitive head before progressing to the Normal head. The Gel head is intended for post-cleanse moisturising and massage—apply a small amount of moisturizer to the gel head and massage it into the skin using circular movements.

Maintenance and longevity

Regular cleaning is essential: wipe the main unit with a damp cloth and air-dry it; remove brush or gel heads and wash them in warm soapy water after each use, allowing them to dry naturally. Avoid abrasive cleaners and petroleum-based or flammable cleaning agents. To maintain performance, the manufacturer recommends replacing brush heads every 3–4 months depending on use. Store the device on its charging base in a cool, dry place and avoid wrapping the cable around the appliance to prevent damage.

Practical considerations

The Purete brush is designed for facial use only and should not be used around the delicate eye area. Its small form factor and USB charging make it travel-friendly, while the three head options cover a range of routines from gentle daily cleansing to targeted exfoliation and hydrating massage.

Notes

  • Charge overnight (approximately 8 hours) for up to 80 minutes of use time.
  • Keep skin damp during use and keep the brush moving to avoid dragging.
  • Replace brush heads every 3–4 months for optimal hygiene and performance.
