Clatronic FR 3195 Cold Zone Double Deep Fryer Manual

A versatile double fryer for crisp, consistent results

The Clatronic FR 3195 Cold Zone Double Deep Fryer combines twin-basket flexibility with a precise thermostat for fast, even frying at home. With up to 4.0 liters capacity and a powerful 2000 W heating system, it delivers golden fries, crunchy snacks, and perfectly fried fish with ease. The cold zone design helps keep crumbs below the heating element, preserving oil quality and flavor longer.

Practical controls and everyday safety

Clear POWER (red) and HEAT (green) indicators show when the unit is on and up to temperature. An adjustable thermostat lets you tailor heat for raw or pre-fried foods, while a safety switch, overheat protection, and a rear RESET button add peace of mind. The removable control unit, baskets, and oil container simplify cleaning; a replaceable odor/grease filter in the lid reduces kitchen smells.

Built for home cooks

From party platters to weeknight sides, the dual baskets allow separate batches or simultaneous cooking. Follow best practices—don’t mix oils, avoid wet or icy foods, and never add water to hot oil—to maintain performance and safety. Regularly skim debris and change oil after 8–10 uses to keep results crisp.

Notes:

  • Capacity: max. 4.0 L; Power: 2000 W; Voltage: 220–240 V, 50 Hz
  • Includes adjustable thermostat, safety switch, overheat protection, RESET
  • Removable parts for easier cleaning; replaceable odor filter\nA large-capacity deep fryer that emphasizes ease of use and cleaning. The 4 L oil tank and generous basket accommodate big portions—up to a full kilogram of fries—making it suitable for families or hosting. Multiple baskets, including two smaller ones, allow simultaneous preparation of mains and sides, while 2000 W power brings oil to temperature in about nine minutes. The detachable lid and fully disassemblable parts simplify maintenance; many components can be cleaned individually, reducing trapped oil and residue. Exterior surfaces get only mildly warm, and the footprint fits standard countertops. Design highlights include cold-zone technology and a layout that prevents lingering smells and buildup, with practical handling for frequent use over years.

Build quality is generally solid, though some users wish for sturdier handles and foldable basket grips to ease storage. One report mentions the unit failing after initial heating, indicating occasional quality variance, and another notes the need to unplug the device to ensure it fully powers down. Despite these caveats, the overall impression centers on reliability, ample volume, and straightforward operation. It suits varied frying tasks—from fries to schnitzel and pastries—delivering consistent results with rapid heat-up, efficient throughput, and flexible basket configurations.
