The Bomann KW 1421 CB is a compact digital kitchen scale designed for everyday home use. Lightweight and user-friendly, it supports up to 5 kg (11 lb) and runs on three AAA batteries, making it portable and convenient for kitchens, baking, meal prep or small markets. The intuitive LCD displays time, ambient temperature and weighing symbols; UNIT and TARE buttons let you switch units (g, kg, lb, oz) and add ingredients without removing the bowl.

Built with safety and durability in mind, the KW 1421 CB features clear warnings about battery handling, overload indication (EEEE) and an automatic shut-off after approximately 120 seconds to preserve battery life. It’s engineered for low maintenance: a smooth platform requires only a lightly damp cloth for cleaning and must never be immersed in water. Practical design details include a rear battery compartment that accepts three AAA/R03 cells and a slim footprint (net weight approx. 0.42 kg), making storage straightforward.

The scale’s multifunction display includes a 12-hour clock (AM/PM) and a temperature readout, useful for kitchens where ambient conditions matter. Setup is simple: place the scale on a flat surface, press the power button, choose the measurement unit with UNIT, wait for the ready symbol, and place items centrally for accurate readings. The TARE function zeroes the display so you can layer ingredients and measure additions sequentially.

Bomann provides a 24-month warranty for private buyers (12 months for certain commercial uses) and clear warranty procedures via their SLI service portal, hotline and email. Disposal and battery recycling instructions emphasize environmental responsibility; batteries must be removed and taken to proper collection points rather than household waste. The product complies with relevant CE directives for electromagnetic compatibility and low-voltage safety.

Overall, the KW 1421 CB is a straightforward, reliable kitchen tool for anyone who needs accurate everyday weighing with basic digital conveniences. It pairs practical features—tare, unit selection, auto-off and a multifunction display—with clear safety guidance and low-maintenance care instructions.
